Best Brazilian Keratin Treatment 10/12/2010

I went to Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon after extensive internet research on the best salons for the Brazilian Keratin Treatment. I was astounded to see that there were close to 1,000 reviews all of which with 4 and 5 stars....I have never seen such a consistently highly rated hair salon...I was intrigued.\r \r I have been using the same salon in Bayside, Queens for almost two decades and was not very happy with the past two BKT experiences that I had there. So I booked my appointment with Lana at Patricia's for last Thursday (10/7/10) and just as she had promised during the consultation, she completed the BKT within two hours (my other salon took upwards of 3 hours) and the cost was significantly cheaper (almost $75 less). \r \r I was pleased from the moment Lana was done with my hair. Anyone that has gotten the BKT before knows that your hair will be a little weighted down, with some flyaways. But the blowout was great, my hair looked great right from the beginning. I had to wait the requisite 72 hours before I washed my hair (and the last 24 hours was the hardest), but I will say with all honesty that my hair was still looking okay between the 48 hour and 72 hour timeline. And my hair didn't have that ""chemical"" smell that I have grown accustomed to during my previous two treatments.\r \r I washed my hair on Sunday afternoon and it looked great....a much better outcome than my previous two treatments in Bayside, Queens. \r \r Lana is great. She is extremely knowledgeable about the products and the after care. I will be going back to Lana at Patricia's in the next three months to have the process again. What's not to like....quick process, less money, manageable curing time (3 day wait to wash hair) and fantastic results! more
