My family went to eat at Babes Old Fashion Hamburgers on 10/29/2010. When we arrived every table was taken so we placed our order and waited for about 5 minutes for a table to free up. The staff immediately cleared and cleaned the table. We sat down and waited for our name to be called. After waiting for about 45 minutes I noticed that people that arrived after us were being called to get their food. My wife went and asked the manager Kim Brown why we had not been called. Kim began looking for our order and found that another guest had come and taken our order before it was called over the speaker. She apologized and said she would get the order replaced right away. Kim immediately jumped into the kitchen area and began helping to prepare and cook the order. Within 5 minutes she had the order ready and brought the order to us. She apologized again and asked if we needed anything else. We began eating and after awhile the manager Kim Brown came over and handed us some gift certificates and said that she wanted to do this to make up for the experience. At this point I was blown away. I understand mistakes happen as humans make mistakes, but it is how you recover from a mistake that makes all the difference. This is a great example of ?Perfect Service? from a restaurant. I have eaten at restaurants that charge $100 a plate and not been as impressed. Way to go Babes Old Fashion Hamburgers! Not to mention that the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was great. This one experience will ensure that I will continue to support this business on a ongoing basis.
