The Park Slope Yoga Center has two spaces in the heart of Park Slope, conveniently located next to the Park Slope Food Coop. The classes are excellent (Sophie for beginning Hatha yoga, Kathryn and Catey and Sadie for pilates). The classes are inexpensive and the 20-class card allows great flexibility. The 2 large classrooms are clean and brightly lit with windows and skylights, decorated with Indian cloths, photographs and hanging plants. A serene and quiet environment where one is required to remove one's shoes in the entryway and where one is always greeted in a friendly manner at the front desk. The teachers I have used are friendly, caring and mindful of any injuries or difficulties one might have.
