I invited American Home Design out to provide a quote for improving the insulation in my attic. WHAT A MISTAKE! Their "salesman" came out and spent about 1 1/2 hours trying to sell us with a new product from eShield. The salesman did a very inaccurate measurement of our attic upon which he provided the price so I believe it was only for show. The price came in over $11,000 for a house with less than 33,000 sq feet. This is more that double than closed cell foam (which is a recognized superior insulator) and more than 10-times the cost of simply adding additional fiberglass. The "salesman" then expected that we would sign a contract immediately and when we objected, he refused to leave any quotation/contract or anything else. He then abruptly got up, made some rude comments, and left. We were left to beleve that this was a scam and that this company is unreliable. We will NEVER contact them again as there are many, many respectable companies in the Nashville area.
