When I moved to Somerville, friends who were Tufts alums couldn't stop telling me I had to go to Blue Shirt Cafe.

Having done so, my response to them is now, ""meh.""
Seriously, I went into this place thinking I would find the Holy Grail stacked inside two slices of wheat bread, but what I had was just a sandwich. Blue Shirt may have been a victim of too much hype, but I wasn't that impressed.
Don't get me wrong, nothing was bad, and they certainly have some interesting choices, including vegan and vegetarian options if I remember correctly, but it's not worth it. You want a sandwich that truly deserves to be adored, you go across the square to Deli-icious.
Smoothies, breakfasts, I've also heard good things about, and I'll probably go back to try them some time just cause it's so conveniently located in the center of Davis, but until then, I stick to the other local sandwich shop.
Pros: They are better than average.
Cons: They're still just plain wraps and sandwiches.
