I cycled 25 miles to Jams just to get a pate on baguette sandwich. They said they only sell their pate wrapped in plastic so I agreed to buy a too-big hunk of pate. I asked to buy one of their precut sandwich-sized pieces of baguette but the seller told me I had to buy a whole baguette. The store was not crowded; it was past lunch hour. I found the seller pretty unpleasant. He seemed happy to make me unhappy. The chowder at ""mac's seafood"" (right behind Jams) really cheered me up.
Pros: good bread and pate
Cons: no pate sandwiches and unpleasant seller
