The Maitre d' felt that ""it might be better if you (my wife) sat there"" in order to give 'them' (current customers) enough room. The customers were somewhat large, and we're not stick figures, either, but we are what we are. We were insulted by the comment. He wasn't tactless intentionally, but he should not have made the comment.\r

Our waitress (the tattoo girl - I can't remember her name, sorry!) was very polite and thanked us for waiting. Even though the cafe was packed, she was still able to get our meals to us in a timely manner.\r

The chipped beef on the biscuits was amazing! Our portion was 6""x8""x2"", enough for at least three people, and DELICIOUS! My wife is very picky about hash browns, but loved these. They are the shredded kind, not the diced kind, and NO paprika. The cinnamon bun we ordered to-go was gi-normous and had a wonderful flavor. The sausage wasn't the best we've had. It wasn't bad, but the flavor just didn't stand out. Their signature dish, the Cap'n Crunch French Toast, was outstanding. My only suggestion for improvement is to soak the bread with a little more egg mixture, since ours was just a little dry.\r

We will definitely return, and will definitely recommend Blue Moon to our friends. Really good coffee, too!
Pros: Reasonable prices for homemade breakfast
Cons: Maitre d' less than tactful
