I was in town visiting family. I was spending the day with my niece who didn't remember a lot of things I associate with Chalmette, specifically, she didn't recall much about Rocky & Carlo's. I dragged her butt there where we split a roast beef po-boy and had some traditional mac'n'cheese with brown gravy. We also had two beverages and the total was 15.75! She was shocked because the roast beef ""wasn't the cheap stuff, but the good kind"" and the gravy was everywhere. Even on our faces after a few bites! I always say that, if it ain't sloppy, it ain't good. We could not finish the SMALL order of mac'n'cheese so she took it home and used it for her family the next night. All their drinks are bottled so they gave a Mardi Gras cup with ice. We asked if we could keep them and they were more than happy to oblige. She's now planning on driving all the way from Avondale with her husband to show him how wonderful Rocky's is and we'll always have that wonderful memory of lunch the old school way. :)

Cons: Too much food (is that really a con??)
