Wonderful Japanese Ambiance with Sushi Bar, Dining Room, Tappan Tables and small dark and cozy bar. If you like ""old school"" restaurants with low lighting and great food and service, this place is for you. If you are looking for something slick and hip - go elsewhere, please. The sushi is always great and is downright cheap compared to other restaurants. They have a wide variety of traditional Japanese fare that never disappoints. Servers are conscientious and prompt. If you want a good table in the dining room on Friday or Saturday night - call for a reservation or you could have a long wait. For those on this site who have left negative reviews I say good riddance to you! More room for me! :) Seriously, this place is great. I have never posted a review in my life - but I just had to defend my beloved MATSU's.
