This place is the basement of a residential building. It has no ventilation, it's ridiculously dark, there are pipes running above your head with condensation dripping on your hairdo. The couches were moist. The bouncers arent strict -they let anyone in (no dress code) so it looks like a slum and didnt feel safe. People were rude, no class. I have friends that hang out in the rocker bar across the street and they tell me there are fights every weekend. Most of the time even the bouncers cant handle the crowd. The patrons beat on the bouncers. The only pros about this place were that the drinks were reasonably priced and the bartender was cute. Go into the city instead - the LIRR is right across the street - take it to Penn Station - you'll get there in 12 min. The commute will be worth it.
Pros: liquor license valid
Cons: humid wet basement, rowdy patrons
