I went online to find a Cedar Rapids fitness club. I called their number on their website hoping to speak with someone about membership prices and such. They asked me who referred me. I said no one. They asked how I got their number. I answered, '...your WEBSITE...'
Them: ""Oh! Ok. Well is there a time you could come and tour our facility?""
Me: ""No, I want to find out if your prices are worth coming out for.""
Them: ""Well our packages and pricings are kind of confusing, so if you could stop in and we could go over it, it'd be less confusing.""
Me: ""Try me, I'm pretty bright.""
Them: ""Sorry, it's policy.""
Me: ""Bye.""
I've called many facilities and all of them were eager to give me whatever information I wanted over the phone. I personally don't want to try the MAC if they don't even give out their information over the phone. Why post your number on your website if you can't give out information?
Pros: they ruined their chances of getting a pro over the phone
Cons: don't want to find out
