My husband and I decided when we got pregnant with our first child that we wanted to have a quiet birth at home without all the lights, noise, chaos and high medical costs of a hospital. From the first time we met with Laura we were impressed with her professional yet personal touch. One of the things that stuck out about Laura to us was that she was very direct, open and honest and she believed that the birth process should be to the ideal of the couple and not to her own. She and her assistant were a pleasure to have as a part of the birth of our son. If you are thinking of having a home birth please do take the time to interview with Laura.
