Mr. Appliance was the authorized service agen for a warranty repair on a 9 month old fridge. The tech came out quickly at first. He decided it needed a new part and came back a week later to fix it. The tech not only could not fix it, he damaged the water/ice component in the door rendering it completely unusable. He left, stating it would need a whole new door. I called the office for more detai regarding the status of the repair and why the tech had left the door more damaged than when he had started. I was transferred to the tech's VM before my question was answered! . Despite repeated requests for infromation, we're 3 weeks out from the date of damage, and still no call, no follow up, nothing from Mr. Appliance! All the CSR in the office can tell me before abruptly transferring me to the tech yet again,(who never seems to answer his cell phone or return calls) was it would take ""some time"" maybe as along as 8-10 weeks for the new door to arrive! No expected delivery date, no apology for the inconveneince and hassle. Zip, nada, nothing! Pros: good inital contact Cons: No follow thru or call back, tech further damaged appliance more
