I have been searching and shopping for acreage for the past year. One of the developments that I keep visiting is Crown Ranch. Just north of Magnolia. While the land itself is beautiful, the development has not progressed at all in the past few years. Every time I talk to them, I get a different story. I saw their most recent advertisement was for 10-25 acre parcels. I called in and now they are selling off their property in large pieces and it is not even platted land!! Isn't it the whole point of buying in a 'master planned' community to have a clearly identified land plan?
Pros: Idea is great
Cons: No development; poor management
