I got the feeling these guys were very green when it came to mortgage loans. Our broker seemed confused a majority of the time, and didn't seem to want to help at all when problems cropped up. We finally decided to shop around at some local banks and it is the best decision we ever made. We got a much lower interest rate, a lower Good Faith Estimate, and better, more knowledgeable service.
I'm sure there are very dependable and knowledgeable mortgage brokers out there in the world, but in my opinion there certainly aren't any at Taylor Home Mortgage.
Pros: They have a lot of free time
Cons: Much higher rates than the banks.
