After months of researching dogs my family and I decided a Mini Bulldog would best suit our family. We traveled all the way from the eastside of Detroit to Pet City Pets in search of our ideal puppy. We were sold on a Mini Bulldog which cost us $1200.00. Very expensive dog but after doing the research we knew this type of dog would not be cheap. Megan told us the puppy was 75% Eng Bulldog and 25% Pug which is a Mini Bulldog. We have had Gus now for about 7 months and can now tell he is a Beagle mix. A Bulldog Beagle mix is called a Beabull and they are much cheaper then a Mini Bulldog. We even think Gus might be more Beagle then Bulldog. The only Bulldog characteristic he has is an underbite. He looks, pointes, jumps, and smells just like a Beagle! He doesnt even have a wrinkled face. Pet City Pets has Beabulls for sale for half of what we paid for Gus. We have nothing against Beagles but we had our hearts set on a Mini Bulldog and we got a Beabull. I will never buy a puppy from a pet store ever again! Does anyone know what I can do legally about this?
Pros: cute puppy
Cons: they lied about my dogs breed
