First, the atmosphere and service were excellent. The steak was good. Everything else...not so much. The New England Lobster Bisque tasted like tomato soup. It had small pieces of lobster, but there was no lobster taste. Lobster Bisque should taste like lobster not tomato soup. The PEI Mussels were just OK. Have had much better at Red Salt. The sauteed mushrooms tasted like they were cooked in liptons onion soup mix. The cake that they brought out for my birthday was stale and dried out. This was my first visit to Stoney River. It will be my last. When I go out for dinner, I expect to get something better than what I can make at home.
Pros: Good Steak, Great Service
Cons: Far over priced based on food.
