Smith Disposal offered a special of $57/Qtr for garbage pickup. Smith Disposal also does not charge a Fuel/Environmental Recovery fee that is the practice of Allied Waste. I called Allied and was told they would commit to a total annual competitive charge of $159. I sent in a check for $159. Allied subsequently continued to bill at the normal charge currently at $86.
