This is the best place in the East Bay to buy spices of all kinds. Huge (and I mean huge!) bins of fresh spice. Just serve yourself and take it to the register. You pay about 1/10th of what supermarkets like Whole Foods charge and even better, the spices at Milan are incredibly fresh. Makes all the difference in the world in any cooking. The restaurant next door is also a great place, especially for lunch.
Pros: Amazing selection of fresh spices.
Cons: Could be a little cleaner!
