Steven is very intelligent, kind and an excellent listener. I was in such a dark place when I first went to see him and he is the only therapist I ever had who actually helped me get better without any medication. I wanted to take heroin and just medicate myself so I didnt have to feel anything. After just a few sessions, I felt like I could cope with my feelings and Steve gave me strategies that I could apply right away to situations in my life that actually worked. He never judged me. He always made me feel safe. He always makes amazing connections that I sometimes did not realize until after our sessions are over. He saved my life.
