I recently brought in my Honda Tiller, which I purchased at Weno, because the recoil mechanism would not unwind. Judging from his countenance, the service guy obviously did not want to work with me from the start, he quickly stepped out from behind the service desk to take a look at the tiller. He turned it on its side and checked the oil. He declared that it had no oil, the recoil wasn't stuck, and that the engine was locked. He said I should purchase a new tiller because it would cost just as much to replace the engine on mine. I went home and finally found the operators manual for my tiller. The service guy incorrectly checked the oil. To check the oil on my tiller, you have to lay it flat with the front of the tiller on the ground. The service guy laid it flat on it's side. The engine had plenty of oil. I then took off the recoil mechanism and quickly found that it was jammed. I played with it a couple of minutes, it seemed to work its way free. I reattached the recoi
