I took my mom to Mamma Dems for Mother's Day and now I feel bad. I wanted to show my mother that I appreciated her but instead I punished her. I want to start out by saying I enjoy good food and i know good food and this establishment doesn't know good food. I ordered the smoothered chicken and instead i got grilled chicken with gravy on top. The mac & cheese tasted like mush with a very little cheese and the corn bread was so hard. My mother had the fried chicken and she said it had no flavor., maybe they weren't ready for the crowd but they have been open for some time now. I think mamma nem need to go back to the drawing board because this food it not good ole' home cooking. I read some of the reviews and I was expecting a upscale restaurant and this is certainly not the case. The restaurant was so hot and dark. I was not impressed at all. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone DON'T BE FOOLED because I certainly was. It's located in a old pizza hut for pete sake why didn't someone say that???? Upscale How?
