Cafe Nola was featured on Food Network, which I believe has been the destruction of this cute little cafe. Food is pretty good, and so are the prices. But really the best part about this restaurant is the ferry boat ride to get there, and the walk from the dock into town. Even with a reservation wait times can be quite long on weekends, and just today I have found out that they lost the reservation I made in February for Mothers Day, leaving me high and dry with no plans. After being passed off to three different people ended up on the phone with frazzled and rude hostess, who didn't make any accommodations for their mistake of losing my reservation. My advice: Go on a weekday, make reservations, call at least once to verify reservations, and enjoy the ferry boat ride.
Pros: Fun ferry boat ride, decent food for average price
Cons: overratted, rude hostess, slow food, noisey, unorganized
