I have a couple of lamps that were custom made and they suited my personality so well! For example: I like a modern touch, yet have a relatively down to earth nature. The lamp shade that resulted was a beautiful stainless steel pole for a base, that is adjustable, topped off by a sturdy, yet comfortable shade that casts a calm light. It has made itself a design highlight in my living room, rather than just a source of illumination. I have been so happy with my lamp shades, and the others in the store are also spectacular in craftsmanship and sensitive to design.
