16 year old daughter paid for 3 hour parking. Ticket expired 8:36pm for her work that ended 8:30pm. By the time she walked to the parking lot, the car had been impounded by Pollards Towing (no relation to author) noted pick-up at 8:50pm.\r

Kid makes $30/weekend and this company imposed a $250 fine for a 14 minute overage on a three hour parking permit. Fine would have been more if I had not gotten the car that night. They obviousely lay in wait for the exact minute this ticket expired. Pure piracy.
Pros: easy to reach on the phone
Cons: predatory no excuse policy
