The lady on the phone was not the least interested in my business. She told me no one would help me if i came in to look around, that i must a serious renter. If i go one day over rental, she would charge double (i needed the costume for a party in a far-off state). And i better show up an hour before closing because they would kick me out of the store precisely at closing time. Plus, rental prices sounded expensive. I've never rented a costume and simply wanted some information, but her responses made it absolutely clear that she had no interest in my business.
