My cat had lost a lot of weight and I took her to the Cat Dr. She was totally freaked out being there as she is not cat-friendly to other cats at all and did not feel good. It turns out she is in renal failure. My experience with the doctor was okay, although she did make me feel that going without expensive treatment would be a bad idea. I agreed to monthly medication and special food totaling $90.00 per month.Six months later, I called for a prescription refill. The receptionist was the biggest witch (with a capital B) that I have ever dealt with. She was heartless, mean, and refused to allow me to speak to the doctor. She insisted I bring in the cat if I wanted more medication. I told her I would not do that...it's too stressful for the cat. She basically told me if I wanted my cat to die I could do whatever I want. I finally called back later and was able to reach the doctor who authorized the refill by phone.
