This is a very good place if you're in the Charleston area and want to get away from the tourist filled spots in the downtown area. The restaurant offers a very comfortable atmosphere. The service can be spotty at times - I've been there two times so far and during the first visit (it was very busy mind you) but the service was slow to say the least. My second visit incorporated top-notch service with a friendly waitress.
The food was really good - I had a burger with buffalo shrimp. I didn't quite know what to expect - a hamburger with shrimp on it - but to my surprise it was awesome!
If I had to offer any criticisms they would be: 1) Perhaps a better control over some of the patrons at the bar and their use of foul language where children are present and 2) a better selection of micro-brews (sorry if I'm a beer snob, but I hail from the Northwest and it's hard to beat some of the Oregon-based micro-brews up there).
All in all, a VERY good choice for a casual lunch or dinner!
Pros: FRIES FRIES FRIES
Cons: Rowdy bar patrons
