It had been a while since I had visited R. Thomas. I was embarrassed when I recommended it for lunch with some co-workers.
First, $20 for lunch isn't reasonable when healthy food isn't as hard to get as it used to be, not to mention economic conditions. Secondly, the portions were minuscule -- ordered chips and salsa ""crumbs n red stuff"" and my salad might have had 3 leaves of lettuce (the saucer it was served on couldn't make it appear any larger). Finally, the food wasn't that tasty. My smoothie tasted watered down when compared to Arden's Garden and it was more expensive.
There just isn't an excuse for R. Thomas when there are other options. They need to adjust or they'll meet the fate of their neighbors.
Pros: Disappoiting
Cons: Price, Portions, Quality
