I visited a particular (un-named) gun retailer in San Fernando Valley 2 times - the first time I was searching for a shotgun - the clerk was condescending and steered me towards what was on sale - I was dismayed by his attitude and subsequently did not purchase anything. The second time (shopping for a handgun) a different clerk was helpful but the selection of items was limited.
