Well love the name -- 'Shanti' means 'peace' in Sanskirt. And that's what I found at this small, friendly but professional salon, located in the Admiral District of West Seattle. This has to be one of Seattle's best kept secrets. I just hate the hectic atmosphere of many salons these days. The decor at Shanti is beautifully done, no radios or tv's blaring, and the friendly staff make for a great atmosphere. I had just moved back to Seattle from upstate New York 2 months ago, and my hair was a mess, to say the least! My stylist Rachel did a fantastic job and made me feel and look like a million bucks! The receptionist Erin was very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for a wonderful experience you guys, I'll be back for sure! Shanti is by far the best salon if your looking for a great haircut in a relaxed easy going salon ...with all the professionalism. Plenty of FREE parking in back parking lot. What's more Shanti is open 7 days a week and is the ONLY AVEDA salon in W.Seattle~Yay-haaay!, Tx. Sally ;o)
