I brought my sick daughter to see Dr Pollard at Pediatrics PM today. She has had fevers, diarrhea, and had been vomiting for two days. I am a pediatric nurse and had concerns about her getting dehydrated. Because of my experience, I knew what to look for and what the proper interventions to take are in order to prevent dehydration. However, my interventions were not working. From the moment Dr Pollard walked into the room, he belittled me and talked to me in a very condescending way. He offered no intervention that was different then I was already doing at home and treated me like a complete idiot! He is a jerk! I will never bring my daughter to his office again!
