Attending this school was probably the worst decision i have EVER made. It is a complete waste of time. I started attending classes in September 2008 as they were just recently moving into their new location after getting evicted of their old location, their promise was to have a clinic floor ready in 2 months for senior students to work on clients, and it is now March 2009 and there still no floor for senior students to go to work on clients, the clinic floor literally doesn't even have a floor and is filled with a bunch of broken things that hasn't been touched since September. So we have been taking clients into our class rooms so they can receive services, where there aren't even enough electrical plugs to plug in hair dryers, curling irons, straighteners, etc. , and NO HOT WATER to wash hair. So if you don't mind washing hair in cold water all day then this jst might b the school for you. Also there are 5 dryers for clients to sit under, but if more than one client sits under the dryer at the same time the breaker will go n power will go out. Students are not allowed to perform any services with chemicals because we are not supplied with the materials to do such. There are days where we don't have any toilet paper or paper towels to wash our hands. How this school got accredited is beyond my belief. When the accreditors came in to check on the school and interview students about the school, students lied because they were fearful that they would get dropped from the program for saying how they really felt. The head teacher who works mostly in administration ends up kicking just about all of the students out, out of a class of 30 students only about 3 end up graduating. The only reason they have such a high passing rate for state board is because they have so few people going to take it. The main teacher in charge of the school will pin point a student and give them hell until they either drop themselves because the school is so pathetic!!
Pros: noneee
Cons: too many to list
