My partner purchased my engagement ring at Calvin's five years ago. The initial experience was very positive. True to the Austin spirit, they treated us with the same respect they treat any other heterosexual couple, which I appreciate. Today, I took my ring in to tighen a loose stone (something that should be done on occasion). Calvin repaired it immediately , then cleaned and polished it. I was amazed when he presented it - absolutely gorgeous, as if new. He, and everyone else, was incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend Calvin's for those special purchases and anyone seeking impeccable service, both during and after the purchase.
