This restaurant was my grandfather's favorite when he was a child, my father's favorite when he was a child, and has now been mine for the past 20+ years. My wife is pregnant and we are sure that our fourth generation will experience this incredible restaurant for years to come...if my wife doesn't eat them out of business in the next 8 months :). Great comfort food, fun Friday night outings, open late for the 'post-bar' stop. Only downfall is the part of town...it has become pretty sketchy... but it isn't the restaurants fault and you can't really expect them to move after 60+ years. Don't forget to rub Buddah's belly on the way out!
Pros: Family owned for over 60 years, consistency, friendly staff
Cons: Nada...except for being stuck in a bad part of PDX
