The staff is awesome. They greeted me as soon as I walked in the door & offered me some hot tea or cucumber water. The waiting area was comfortable, clean, and relaxing.
I was given the option to sit in the far infrared sauna prior to my treatment, and was very happy that I decided to do this. I was told that this kind of sauna uses the same technology utilized in neo-natal incubators, and that I could burn 300-600 calories in a 30 minute session. I'm not sure about how many calories I burned, but I can attest that it was the perfect way to relax before my massage. It smells like cedar, is not overly hot, is not stuffy at all, and a relaxing ocean sounds CD played while my worries and cares melted away.
My massage therapist gave me a comfortable robe to change into and took me back to the treatment room. The warm stone massage and stress relief scalp massages I received were amazing. The therapist was very experienced, and really made me comfortable by explaining everything she was doing. I had never felt so pampered or relaxed after a treatment. I was very happy with the whole experience, and would definitely recommend Rejuvenate Day Spa to any woman.
