I made the mistake of going to Aspen Dental. First they refused to do a cleaning the same day as the exam. They took a full set of full mouth x-rays and an exam. I sat in front a poster warning me of the threat of periodontitis and when the dentist came in guess what? I had a mild case of periodontitis! The "dentist" couldn?t tell me anything more other than it was going to be expensive. She spent less than five minutes with me for a $70.00 exam.
Next I went to speak with a payment consultant. Like you, I had never had this happen at a dentist before. She tells me that I need $1760 worth of work done. I tell her I want something explaining how she got this number. She gave the run around and wouldn?t answer. I made an appointment for the work but wasn?t sure if I was going to keep it or not.
