First of all I'm not a gym person. I have always been turned off by the meat market mentality I would find in the chain fitness centers. So I was excited to stumble upon Luna Fitness during one of my random attempts to find gym. Both my phone and first visit consultations were conducted by friendly and non-pushy ladies, which allowed me to let down my guard and see the benefits the gym had to offer.\r

Luna Fitness is a Women's Only facility and this concept has given me that extra confidence I needed to try new equipment and classes I wouldn't of tried in a traditional unisex facility. Plus there is a wide range of women (young, mature, in and out of shape) who are members so you can be inspired without being discouraged by those around you.\r

My current routine has me taking the later classes and morning weekend classes so I get a good mixture of the staffing and fellow members. Both the staff and members are very personable without it feeling like they are invading your personal space. This gives it a feeling that it's really YOUR club. Plus it’s encouraging to see the staff welcome new members to the classes; they are very patience and encouraging.. and stick with you throughout the process.\r

Because of my tight budget I haven't been able to take advantage of the personal training sessions that are available (YET). But that hasn’t stopped me from progressing towards my goals because I am able to take advantage of the variety of classes offered and the on-going consulting I receive from the trainers - Just ask and you'll receive!!\r

Seriously Ladies.. whether you are a newbie to the fitness world or hardcore; Luna really does have something to offer .. no, there won't be any hot sweaty boys walking around for eye candy, but who cares... they stink! :-)\r
Pros: Not a meat market
Cons: Not a meat market... ha! ha! just kidding!
