Worst company to deal with. I called right before thanksgiving because my tv bulb went out for the second time in 4 years. I have an extended warranty that covers it for 5 years so I was thinking that my warranty was a good investment. Precision Tv didn't answer my call so I left a message hoping they call me back. They didn't for several days, so I ended up calling them back after the holidays. Once I was able to get someone on the phone, I'd explained that my tv bulb went out. The lady on the phone says she would take down my info and get back with me to set the appt. A week goes by a nothing happens. I called back only to find out that they had to get permission from my warranty company because the replacement exceeded some amount and needed approval. So I waited and waited. Close to 2 weeks later, they call me back thinking they call me for an appt only but that wasn't the case. They stated they got the approval but needed to order the parts. Another week later, they call back to set the appt up. However it wasn't going to be for another 2-3 weeks. I had no choice but wait. At this point I was already piss. But nothing that I can do since I was at their mercy. Finally the day arrive, they tech shows up a the house. And I'm thinking hooray....my tv is finally going to get fix. Nope!!! The tech guy says that my tv bulb is not cover. Only the first bulb blowout was cover and not the second. But this was not where I angry. The tech guys says he has the parts and can install it for me but he would have to charge me for the labor of $185 for a 5min operation. Something that I can do myself. However when I ask if I can just purchase the parts from him and take care of it today, he refuse and said he couldn't do that. Stated he couldn't sell me the parts without the labor. So at this time, I was trying to keep my anger from exploding. He did offer to recommend a website that I can purchse from which means that I would have to wait for the parts to arrive. So you can see how I am pretty mad at this point. Not only did this company waste my time. They also tried to screw me during the tv repair appt by not selling me the parts when he had it on him. The company could have told me from the begining that my bulb was not cover and I could have just order the parts and repaired it my self from the begining instead of giving me this run around so that they can have a repair tech show up at my house 1 month later to try to screw me with the repair bill knowing how desperate I was to get my tv fix. 2 lessons I learned from this experience.....I will never buy warranties for a tv again...............second.....................never use Precision Tv !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
