Roto-Rooter was available late at night which was convenient and supposedly did not charge overtime. The technician did arrive about an hour after he was suppose to be at my home. He was very friendly and seemed adequately knowledgeable. He diagnosed my problem in 15 minutes(no water coming to my hot water faucets in the house) as a blockage in the tube leading from the water heater out to the house. It took him maybe a half hour to unscrew the tube, take care of the blockage, and test the water again. For this, I was charge $250. No parts, just labor. $250/hour seems pretty steep, I was figuring maybe $175. I would use them again only in an emergency.
