DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE
They are friendly. They are smooth talking. They are convincing. Then you figure out you've been had
They lie, cheat and do not respond to calls
This VW dealership is now known as Team Volkswagon. They are dishonest people. Check them out on BBB. There they get an F and 15 customer complaints! As for me, I wish I could give them less than one star! I guess it is my fault for letting my 81 year old husband go for a ""test drive"" whilst I was elsewhere. He came home with a new VW jetta wagon diesel, which is the car he wanted, but he was talked into overpaying by several thousand dollars. Unfortunately he paid them with a check (which they promptly cashed). To add insult to injury they gave him a mere $2,750 for his 9 year old Nissan Quest van which had only 48,000 miles on it. I wanted that van for our grandson! When I found out how little they had paid for his Nisson van, we drove back to the VW dealership and said we wanted to buy the van back. At first Jay (a salesman) said okay because the van had major problems like needing a $400 brake job because the brakes were 95% gone. Then he said the red light that indicated the windshield reservoir was empty stayed on (this light had been on for two years and we had already told them that fact) therefore the entire electrical system was bad and would need to be replaced for $1,600. After telling us what bad shape the van was in, Jay said at anyway the van was in their repair shop.with the tires off--but come the next day, Monday, we could buy it back for the $2,750. Today is Monday, the supervisor Sammy, says he can not sell it back to us. It is now ""in the system"" and has to go to an auction yard and can only be sold to a wholesaler. Oh, I just learned that I can get a new brake job for $150--if it really needs it--and a licensed Nissan mechanic says that the red light on the windshield reservoir indicated a burned out sensor. What creeps. How demeaning. We got taken by this dealership. All I can do is cry about the fact that I have a too trusting husband and there are some unscruplous people who will take advantage of unwary senior without a second thought. Please do not do business with these dishonest people. VWs are fine cars but this dealership, its salesmen and supervisors are not good people.
