if you have already done the big island downhill bike ride, this may not be as exciting for you. you barely have to peddal at all and they drive you up to a lookout before you get started. the smells of the flora, while riding down, are great! we had good tour guides that shielded us from traffic. take the morning tour if you are going to go b/c the views are better and there are less traffic. we also think the ride is more 'exotic' if you haven't already explored the canyon.
