My wife pawned two guns. I went in with her to pay off the total amount and pick up the guns. He took the payment, marked the bill paid in full, but refused to return the guns. He said she needed a background check. I said I already had a carry permit and I would take them. He said only the person who pawned them could get them back-Georgia Law.
