Mazda Auto service. 10/29/2009

I had my 1998 Mazda MPV serviced on September 2009 twice. Water pump leak, timing belt change, tire rotation. Service is good, however, they will tell a lot more to do but beware, they will try to upsell. You should know your car and always ask for a work order and the reason why they are recommending the service. All repair shop tries to make money out of you. If you do not know about car repair, at least, do our research on the job to be performed. Is it really needed or just a maintenance for a possible (2-5 years) problem. I ended up with a $1,600 service bill. I returned back 2 eeks after. After degreasing the engine, I notice oil leaks. Another recommended $1,500 repair. Looked at the work order and ended up with a $498 charge. more
