I have been to C&R Tires on Tatum and Bell a few times, and every time, they quote over the phone then try to charge you more when you get there. \r

My fiance just had her alternator fixed there 7 months ago. Her car wouldn't start today and we jumped it and took it to Checker. After testing the batter, they said it was the alternator. We took it back under warranty and C & R tire said it was the battery and quote her $116.00. She said ok, then got there and they tried to charge her $170-FOR A BATTERY! She complained and they dropped it to $114.00-still would have only been $50 with no labor at Checker. I suspect their fixed the alternator and tried to squeeze more money out of the deal by charging her for a new battery. \r

They also charged me labor for my road hazard when my tire fell apart 3 days after I bought it-$30. Discount Tire doesn't pull that crap. I will never go back.
