I recently sent my son's Alto Saxophone to be repaired at Ken Stanton. I was told they would start working on it by Oct. 12. Since my son has to practice everyday that is part of his Band grade, I went to Ken Stanton Music, since they have a sign on the front door stating that they rent instruments, to rent an Alto Sax, like I did in 2008 when his Saxophone was being repaired. I spoke with the staff and one person started to explain the 3 month minimum rental process. I started filling out the paperwork and was told by another staff member that I could not rent the Alto Saxophone because they don't do short term rentals. No one was able to explain to me what short term rental means? But was told too bad I can't rent the Sax unless I was renting it for a school year. There seemed to be conflicting information and I was not very happy with the staff personnel. The repair department has been very cooperative and they do an excellent job. It is the band department that I have major issues
