I also went to Walt's after reading the reviews here--after being disgusted by the conspicuous dearth of anything resembling an "honest mechanic" in this area. I'm delighted to report that I've found one at last, and would recommend Walt Eger's without hesitation to anyone who wants his or her car professionally managed at a fair price by people who put integrity before profit. Walt and his crew are amazing--considerate, efficient, and pleasant to deal with, and they even provide wi-fi for those of us who can telework while waiting at the station. I don't make recommendations lightly, but it is my pleasure to give this one. Walt is an "old time craftsman" in every sense of the word, and a delightful anachronism in an industry that increasingly seems to put self-interest before customer service.
