My dealings with Park Place Lexus have been good enough. Our purchase experience was good...well above average, but not amazing. Service WAS great!! I purchased my vehicle in 2007 and actually looked forward to taking it in for service. They actually sold gelatto in the little cafe, they had a wonderful kids room with a beautiful fish tank, free coffees, teas, waters; several sitting areas and reading materials, as well as TVs. If you preferred to run other errands while your car was being serviced, they would provide you with a free rental car; you could come by any time for a free car wash; and if it simply didn't fit your schedule to come in, they would bring you a loaner car, take your car in, service it, and deliver it back to you wherever you were (within a designated area...I think the metroplex). But NOW, they no longer provide loaner cars unless your car is in for major service, same with the pick up/delivery service. The gelatto is gone and so is some of the magic. The last couple of times I've taken my car in, they've called after I dropped it off to let me know that there would be additional charges for the service I've requested. They did (at least) seek my approval before proceeding, but it isn't the same experience they provided just a couple of years ago. I've never had the same service assistant twice. They can look up my car/service record when I call in, but apparently can't track who helped me last time?! On the plus side: every service has been performed to my expectations, within the time estimated, and I've never had to take the car back to have something that was ""fixed"" re-examined.
