So much passes through the mind and heart in the remembering of a childhood, snap shots of memories in misty shades of sepia. The sensation of cold winds blowing on bare little girl legs, warm sunshine dulling the worry of a morning spelling bee, the sound of trees in full spring bloom, the weight of a tightly held school bag pressing against a small body; these feelings I still hold deep within my physicality.
