I have found out that more people are willing to talk if they don't have to get directly involved with turning in criminal activity.They are scared of the revenge factor or that the criminal's friends will try to get back at them.It is just a thought.
Pros: Get more Information if people don't have to give a name.
Cons: May be alot of wasted time following up on false leads.
